Overview
ROX Platform is an enterprise event management, ticketing, tournament, and academy registration platform servicing thousands of active consumer accounts. The platform handles ticketing workflows, tournament draws, and academic profiles under high flash-demand constraints.
The Challenge
High-density events cause significant cellular bandwidth drops, making traditional online ticket verification sluggish and error-prone. Additionally, scalpers and ticket duplicators exploit standard QR formats, demanding a secure, offline-capable, zero-latency validation pipeline.
The Engineering Solution
Engineered an offline-first QR scanning agent with local cryptographic signature verification. Developed a NestJS caching mechanism with highly optimized MySQL transactional isolation levels to prevent double-booking issues under high concurrency sales phases. Rebuilt the frontend using React/Next.js to streamline load animations.
