Overview
Simosa CMS is an enterprise content distribution headless engine powering core mobile applications, supporting versioned publishing schedules, real-time drag-and-drop structural updates, and dynamic preview modules.
The Challenge
Managing layout order and promotional modules across thousands of disparate mobile clients traditionally required full app releases. Editorial teams needed a zero-recompile content engine to dynamically mutate, version, and preview live layouts securely.
The Engineering Solution
Designed and implemented a decoupled content publishing model with versioned drafts. Integrated localized Minio storage clusters as an on-premise S3 substitute to maintain strict data privacy compliance. Built push-notification triggers to force target mobile client hot-reloading on publish events.
Key System Deliverables
- ✦Next.js 14 dashboard coupled with NestJS backend architecture
- ✦Prisma ORM mapping live dynamic layout relationships in MySQL 8
- ✦Local on-premise Minio storage cluster for private media hosting
- ✦Webhooks coupled with mobile push engines for immediate content sync
Measurable Success
- ✓Empowered content teams to run layout updates in seconds instead of weekly app store releases
- ✓Maintained total on-premise compliance and data security boundaries
- ✓Introduced reliable version history, drafts, and unified staging rollback logs
